Air Leakage Test Technician

The work is mostly site based (London and the South-East), with some office work from time to time. Air leakage test technicians tend to work typical office hours, although extra hours may be required to meet project deadlines and for travel to and from site. Site work can be physical and air leakage test engineers will need to be able to lift and move test equipment (approximately 25kg) around sites.

When not undertaking testing on-site, the successful candidate will be required to work with colleagues within our Tunbridge Wells office and assist in their provision of energy consultancy services, including SAP and SBEM calculations, Energy Strategy Reports, thermal modelling and Energy Performance Certificates.

This role will suit candidates with an interest and experience in construction and low energy building design.

• Experience of air leakage testing (not essential as full training will be provided).


• Experience in construction.


• Excellent problem-solving skills (ability to investigate potential issues, identify problems and provide appropriate solutions).


• Good communication and inter-personal skills.


• Accuracy and attention to detail.


• The ability to work without supervision.


• Computer literate.


• Full clean UK-valid driving licence.


• CSCS cardholder (training will be provided if required).
