Agency Care and Support Worker

·We'll need you to have at least 6 months' experience as a support worker with strong experience with the conditions above, this is non-negotiable.

·A full UK driving licence is preferred for ease of yourself and travelling to a service and home again.

·A good work ethic and good timekeeping is a must.

· Be able to complete both support worker and care assistant shifts,

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Store discount, We are currently looking for dedicated Support Workers and Care Assistants to join our already fantastic team in the Huddersfield area. We are offering full-time and part-time opportunities. This role is currently paying £12.82 with enhancements for waking nights and weekends.

So, what will you be doing and how will you make an impact?

·On a support worker shift, you will have the chance to work with a wide range of people including those with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Physical Disabilities, behaviours that challenge and other complex needs.

·On a care assistant shift, you will have a chance to work with a wide range of elderly individuals including those that have Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease, Stroke and sensory impairments

·You'll assist with every aspect of daily living, promoting the individuals to be as independent as possible. This includes personal care, domestic duties, food preparation and outings such as shopping, meals and meeting friends and family.

·You will take part in managing behaviours that challenge with consistency and empathy.

·You will contribute, arrange, and assist with planning meaningful activities and events that are sure to leave a positive impact on each person you support.
