After-School Club Assistant

Monday to Friday 3-6pm, starting in September
Grade 3, working term time only

We have a part time vacancy for a suitably experienced person, who will under the direction of the Head of School, assist in the safety, welfare and good behaviour of the children after school hours in the school's After School Club.

Key responsibilities are to supervise the children after school hours, ensuring their health and safety, welfare and wellbeing are prioritised at all times.

Our small school is part of the Downland Village Schools Federation.

Duties include:

• 
  Supervising children after school within the hall space/playground/school grounds to ensure that a good atmosphere is maintained
  
• Leading and encouraging children to take part in appropriate games both indoors and outdoors


• Ensuring the safety and good behaviour of children


• Administering first aid, when required


• Being aware of and supporting children, to ensure that all children have equal access to opportunities to play and develop


• Assisting children to complete their homework during the session
