Full Job Description

To manage the administration and virtual reception duties of the virtual consultation's platform.
To provide a professional, comprehensive and efficient service to the Trust's outpatient based clinics at City Road and its associated satellite units.
To promote a positive image of the Trust's outpatient services through the provision of excellent customer service to patients, relatives/carers and external stakeholders demonstrating a commitment to putting patient care first.
To ensure high standards of data entry and quality are achieved and sustained across all services, in both paper and electronic record-keeping.
To ensure adherence to the Trust's Access Policy at all times.
To be responsible and accountable for all virtual consultations booked on the platform for designated service or group of services across the trust.
To monitor the platform and ensure all patients are attended to efficiently and accurately. To ensure that any potential issues are escalated according to the Standard Operating Policy.
To work as part of a team on a rota basis and provide cross-cover for other members of staff within the team to ensure consistent and effective service is maintained during periods of annual leave and sickness as required.
To undertake basic troubleshooting and escalate more serious issues to your line manager.
To attend and contribute to weekly team meetings, providing reports and
analysis on waiting times and technical or information governance issues experienced.
To build and maintain good working relationships with outpatient colleagues across the trust.
Due to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory DBS disclosure and two references.
