Full Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual with administrative experience to join our Medicines Management Team. You will provide comprehensive administration and office management to support the team, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking detailed minutes at meetings

  • Inputting national audit data onto a database

  • Ensuring documents on the team intranet page are current and that the site is maintained

  • Providing administrative support for medicines management training events

  • Supporting team administrative functions

  • Deputising for the Personal Assistant to the Chief Pharmacist during periods of leave

    Key skills include excellent communication skills and high standards of computer literacy with the ability to manage databases. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is therefore essential. Applicants should be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their own workload and be able to utilise their own initiative. The post holder will be required to work within deadlines with good record keeping and file management skills.

    Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.


  • The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
