Administrator - Information Assurance

As an Administrator - Information Assurance, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for providing a high level of professional Information Assurance (IA) support across the business.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of all day to day IA related matters ensuring key support functions are delivered in a smart, flexible and holistic manner to ensure the business continues to operate safely and securely as well as:

• Supporting the implementation and development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for both ISO27001 and ISO28001 certification


• Conducting internal and external auditing activity in support of maintaining the ISMS


• Supporting the development of a supply chain due diligence programme of activity to identify and mitigate risk and impact of supplier/service/product use on data protection and IA requirements


• Supporting the wider aspects of delivery of the security plan to ensure a holistic approach is taken in the protection of assets strategy


• Maintaining all records and IA policy / process documentation in support of the ISMS and ISO continued certification


• Fostering and promoting a key liaison role at all levels both within the business as well as key stakeholders within our external partners and contracting authorities


This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with two days in the office/onsite and three days working from home.

Essential experience of the Administrator - Information Assurance

• Working knowledge HMG IA Standards, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) IA Publications, and MOD JSP440


• Experience of international standards including ISO27000, ISO28000 and NIST Cyber Security Framework


• Providing customer facing ISO27k / ISO28k advice and guidance


• A broad understanding of computer and network technical architecture


• Ability to champion high performance and inspire others, Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant experience


• Hold Certified Information security Manager (CISM), Certified information systems security professional (CISSP) or similar high level qualification in Information Security


• ISO27001 and ISO28001 Implementor / Assessor


• UK driving licence


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
