Full Job Description

  • Support the delivery, coordination, organisation and administration of School of Design programmes

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all programmes and events lifecycles.

  • Support the General Manager and wider team

  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support and record maintenance service to a portfolio of programmes

  • Make a valuable contribution to delivering excellent experiences for staff and students, through the provision of high quality information and support services

    The ideal candidate will be educated to A-level or have equivalent experience. In addition, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Administrative experience of working in a busy customer-focused environment with demonstrable ability to deal with a variety of issues with tact and sensitivity

  • Experience of being involved in events such as the WIP, Grand Challenge and Open Days

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and to a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in the use of productivity suites (email, calendar, documents, spreadsheets, databases) such as Microsoft Office or Google for work and the internet

  • Experience of maintaining databases, using Microsoft packages

  • Ability to use initiative, multi-task and work as part of a team

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload whilst retaining excellent customer service standards
