Full Job Description

  • Invoice processing - direct or via matching to purchase orders, includes employee expenses.

  • Payment processing

  • Statement reconciliations

  • Query resolution.

  • Garnering invoice approvals from buyers

  • Handling incoming calls to the department

    To support the Finance Department, within a Shared Service setting the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting software and data entry with a keen eye for detail., Proven purchase ledger professional min. 3 years - recent experience, purchase ledger: 3 years (required)

  • Accounts payable: 1 year (preferred)

    We are Angstrom Technology a leading expert in cleanroom design, and we require a Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance Team.

    Use of Sage 50 and Sage 200

  • Working with multiple companies - we have 4 companies: 2 main trading companies + 2 smaller admin sites

  • Operating with multiple currencies: GBP, Euro and USD


  • Job Type: 6 month Fixed Term Contract, Part -time 16-24 hours per week between 8.30 and 5pm, possibility of hybrid working after approximately 8 weeks settling in period on -site.

    Salary: approximately £16.00 per hour DOE.
