Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Office / Accounts Manager to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced, rapidly expanding company based at our head office in Nelson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative and accounts operations of our office and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning., Manage and supervise office staff, providing guidance and support where needed
- Handle all administrative tasks, including filing, correspondence, and data entry
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Utilise Xero for financial record-keeping and management accounts reporting

- Utilise Xero for payroll
- Maintain phone etiquette when dealing with clients and suppliers
- Preparation of company health and safety, ISO, accreditations and Intercompany transactions.
- Organise office operations and procedures to ensure efficiency
- Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment and training

Proven experience in team management and office administration
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to perform clerical tasks accurately and efficiently
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience supervising staff is advantageous
