Full Job Description

We are now seeking to appoint a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain further experience.

Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the accounts payable and receivable functions
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Quickbooks, Odoo
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

We are offering a competitive salary of between £25,000-£28,000 plus benefits package including annual discretionary bonus.
