Full Job Description

Our client is a rapidly-expanding, award winning professional services company based near Fleet, they are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join their growing team following an exciting period of growth.

The role is varied with day-to-day activities to include:

- Period close / month end accounting tasks

- Bank Reconciliations

- Posting monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets

- Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns

- Supporting with weekly and monthly payroll

The ideal candidate will have gained some previous experience in a similar accounts assistant, finance administration or bookkeeping role, preferably with some progression towards AAT or similar accounting or bookkeeping qualification.

You'll be a great communicator with strong customer service skills, with the confidence to interact with clients via phone and in-person, where required.
