Accounts Assistant

We are a large flooring wholesaler and require an energetic and enthusiastic individual to come and join our accounts team in a fast-paced environment.

We require an energetic and enthusiastic individual to come and join our administrative team.

You will be required to undertake general accounts duties including, but not limited to:

Invoice inquiries

Updating payments

Answering phone calls from customers

Taking orders and documenting those orders onto a computer system.

Assisting with deliveries and inputting of stock onto the system.

Serving 'walk in' customers who wish to place orders.

The applicant must have good numeracy, accounting and general IT skills, a polite and clear telephone manner, and also be able to work well on own initiative and when under pressure in a fast paced environment.,

• GCSE or equivalent (required)


Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (preferred)


• bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
