Full Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team in Southport. The successful candidate will support the finance and procurement departments in various accounts administration tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a leader of the AV industry., Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Creating weekly AP reports and ensuring all compliance information is sourced in line with internal processes.

: Perform daily supplier invoice posting, liaising directly with internal stakeholders and suppliers, requesting credit notes and allocating POs.

: Creating accurate Project and Variation records on the project management system, raising invoices against these and ensuring compliance in line with internal processes.

Supporting the procurement team with PO creation, ordering and general administration, including matching delivery notes to bills

Reconciling business credit card accounts and assisting with general bank reconciliations

Compiling and supporting on the production of a wide rangte of reports for the business including Project Budgets, Vendor Spend, Team Project Progress and Invoicing Reports.

Perform other administrative tasks as required such as producing accurate project labels for equipment, creating delivery notes and assisting with Project pack creation (printing, drawings etc).

· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role preferably within finance and/or procurement teams .

· Experience in the AV industry is a plus.

· Proficiency in project management and accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Any experience with ZOHO would be preferable but not a requirement as full training will be given.

· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.,

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
