Full Job Description

Reporting in to the Financial Controller, this role will also oversee the accounting for stock across the Region North. Hence there could be travel to Nordics and Netherlands on an ad hoc basis.,

  • Working closely with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) to oversee the financial reporting of stock and support with the operational aspects of stock that sit within the Finance function.

  • Managing the financial aspect of the RFID process including; working with the SSC to ensure all counts are processed, RFID result reporting and working with the Profit Protection team on the RFID investigation process across Region North.

  • Support Profit Protection team by providing ad hoc reports and working with them on investigations.

  • Working with the SSC to Monitor stock movements and write offs within the SAP accounting system across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Nordic entities.

  • Stock control and reduction of stock loss across Region North.

  • Management, organization and reporting of interim and audited stock counts across Region North.

  • Working with the SSC on Inventory valuation and stock provision recording within the SAP accounting system across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Nordic entities.

  • Forecasting of inventory provisioning requirements.

  • Maintaining/ reviewing cost prices on the system and analysing the impact on margins across Region North.

  • Assisting in the improvement in internal controls related to inventory across Region North.

  • Facilitating new store set up operationally and on the system.

    You'll have Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of accounting and retail systems (SAP, GK POS) is essential.

  • You'll have understanding of financial KPI's and Profit and Loss statements.

  • You'll have experience in (financial) analysis and reporting.

  • You'll have a proactive and solutions oriented mindset with the ability to Make Informed Decisions.
