Full Job Description

As a Account Manager/Publicist on the FABRIC team, you are responsible for generating daily earned editorial output for your clients. You will have an in-depth understanding of the media landscape and news agenda, as well as proven contacts across a breadth of media silos, with a focus on the consumer, lifestyle and entertainment sectors., Create effective PR plans for clients to generate output.

Pitch stories and ideas to media outlets on behalf of the client, consumer, lifestyle and entertainment essential. A specialist skillset spanning entertainment streaming space/media an advantage.

Identify and co-ordinate publicity opportunities such as speaking engagements, appearances and interviews.

Draft briefing documents for the client's SLT and help them prepare for media visits, conferences and interviews.

Build and maintain successful relationships with the media and other outlets.

Monitor and track daily client coverage (using media monitoring tools), applying a critical eye to identify proactive and reactive opportunities. Provide timely responses to inquiries and feedback.

Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and story angles to generate positive media coverage.

Cultivate and maintain relationships with local media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure press coverage and media partnerships.

Develop and execute comprehensive PR plans to promote the restaurant's brand, events, and offerings.

Manage day to day relations with media and other platforms.

Promote the client or company image in a successful manner.

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new PR opportunities.

Analyse PR performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

You will get a buzz out of identifying media opportunities, crafting and shaping stories that pique media's interest and converting coverage. You will know the consumer, lifestyle and entertainment spaces inside and out and will have a strong interest in emerging trends, content, platforms and talent in these areas. You will be adaptable and versatile, applying your media relations skills to different clients.

If you have publicity experience across entertainment streaming services (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max) or related brands, this is an advantage but not a requirement, although you will need to show enthusiasm to learn this sector (which you will be supported on in the role).

  • Corporate PR - good to have, 2-3 years as a PR Manager / Publicist working on behalf of global consumer, lifestyle and entertainment brands. Publicity experience within TV, Streaming, Studio space experience an advantage.


  • A network of high-level relationships with key entertainment media (consumer and industry trade), and consumer lifestyle and news media.

    Solid understanding of the global lifestyle, consumer and entertainment markets - competitors, key media, emerging trends, content and the consumer lifestyle space. Understanding of entertainment streaming market an advantage.

    A passion for the entertainment category an advantage, you're obsessed with TV, film, series, documentaries etc. and can apply this knowledge to your work.

    Experience generating pitches and confidence when outreaching to key media, an entrepreneurial spirit/approach to converting coverage, looking for fresh angles. and applying strategic thinking to land output.

    Experience planning and managing PR events.

    Experience coordinating and managing press junkets for global A-list talent; working with Studios, Agents and Partners an advantage.

    European market experience - CEE, Nordics, Iberia, Netherlands - an advantage for Entertainment specialty. UK and global experience essential for consumer and lifestyle areas.

    Experience in trade/corporate comms an advantage.

    Highly organised, diligent, reliable and hands-on; you will thrive in fast-paced environments.

    Ability to build strong client relationships and create trust quickly.
