Full Job Description

At Green Task Force Ltd client relationships are our top priority. We're looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to maintain client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive to provide exceptional customer service. Duties include developing account plans, managing client relationships and delivering proposals, Business development and maintaining client frameworks and portals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients


  • Maintaining our registration on client frameworks/portals


  • Delivering sales pitch to prospective clients


  • Communicating to clients clearly addressing their concerns and resolving any conflicts that arise


  • Raising clients' business concerns and needs to the company's management.


  • Preparing and presenting business and account updates to the company's management and clients


  • Monitoring the budget of the client, explaining costs or expenditures, and discussing new terms, if necessary, with senior management approval


  • Following up with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the company's products or services.


  • Contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products/services, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions.


  • Attending roadshows and network meetings where needed

  • Ensure that opportunities for growth of the company are followed up and presented to senior management.

    Understanding of the Land Based Sector with a particular focus on the Landscaping/Fencing/Arboriculture industry including horticulture

  • Demonstratable experience in Account management


  • · Proven experience in obtaining and delivering company objectives.
  • A professional qualification is preferred but not essential.


  • · An understanding or awareness of veteran support.

    · An understanding or awareness of horticulture and arboriculture.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.


  • An understanding of ethical codes of practice I


  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills., A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
