An Exciting Opportunity Awaits!

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Shipowners Marine Hull team as an Account Executive.

You will be responsible for a portfolio of varied clients requiring 'hands-on', strong relationship building to assist them with all aspects of their insurance programmes. You'll be guiding existing clients through mid-term adjustments and renewals, including presentations to the appropriate market, whilst also identifying new business opportunities.

We are especially interested to hear from candidates with Marine Hull insurance market experience and knowledge.,

  • Develop a strong relationship with clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled

  • Identify primary budget holders and decision makers within clients, establish and maintain active relationships with these people

  • Provide technical, industry and subject matter expertise where required

  • Determine appropriate solutions, structure, price and placement strategies that meet the clients' needs and deliver profitable business for a range of clients

  • Grow existing portfolio by identifying new from existing opportunities

  • Cross-sell and up-sell opportunities are fulfilled

  • Undertake renewal market presentations/negotiations and make appropriate recommendations to client

  • Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market as required

  • Design programme and pricing structures to best meet the client's needs based on knowledge of the client, the insurance market and industry sector proposition

    Good knowledge and understanding of the Marine Hull insurance market both UK and Internationally

  • Preferably educated to degree level or relevant industry experience

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Strong skills in problem solving, planning and budgeting
