Full Job Description

We are looking for an Academy Operations Lead to provide day-to-day operational support, administration and coordination of our Women's Academy.

You will play a pivotal role in helping to enable our Academy team to develop excellent young female players within our youth programme that have potential to play for our Women's First Team., Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all.   • Own key administrative tasks - you'll be entrusted to ensure the smooth running of our U9-U21s Academy including match day and fixture organisation, coordination of all training/match day venues and communications with all players, parents and casual staff

  • Oversee and support our casual staff - you will manage the administration of casual staff across onboarding, payroll and qualifications in line with FA regulations

  • Build excellent relationships with senior colleagues - you'll work collaboratively with heads of department across our club to manage international administration

  • Coordinate vital travel and logistics plans - you will oversee the coordination of all Academy match day and training logistics and you'll lead on the planning, delivery and execution of all team and staff travel

  • Manage critical player databases - you'll help to maintain a robust player database and you'll manage our online player management system and provide up to date player data and scheduling via teamworks

  • Proudly uphold our high standards - you will work with the Kit Manager to ensure all teams, coaches and players have the appropriate kit and equipment to operate effectively

  • Ensure our compliance with vital policies - you'll be instrumental in ensuring our Academy programmes adhere to the FA policies, procedures and regulations for safeguarding children and maintain our child protection, health, safety and equal opportunity procedures

  • Act as a designated safeguarding officer - you will become the first point of call for any safeguarding concerns across our Women's Academy

    Proven background in sport - you come with a track record of working within elite sport and have an understanding of the current Women's Talent Pathway

  • Excellent administrative skills - you're able to work in a timely and proficient way and support colleagues with a range of administration based tasks

  • Qualifications in first aid within football - you proudly hold an up to date FA Level 1 intro to First Aid in Football (IFAiF) or FA Level 2 Emergency Aid in Football (EFAiF) qualification

  • Empathetic mindset - you pride yourself on your strong knowledge of child development and are sensitive to children's needs

  • Certified and trusted teamplayer - you're knowledgable and understanding of safeguarding issues and you hold a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate and you have an accepted FA Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

  • Best-in-class organisational skills - you possess a strong ability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines

  • Flexible and adaptable - you're able to work weekends and attend evening training sessions and you're happy to travel to all fixtures, tours and training camps with our U21's
