Full Job Description

As an academic support assistant your primary responsibility will be to make education inclusive to students with additional needs. You will work in conjunction with teaching staff to provide support on an individual or small group basis. The nature of this will vary considerably according to the unique needs of each individual student or student group.

  • Level 2 English and Math's


  • Experience of working with young people or adults with mild to moderate learning difficulties and/or disabilities.


  • A qualification in care or learning support.


  • It would be beneficial if you also have;

  • A First Aid qualification


  • Worked in Further Education


  • An understanding of Autism
