Full Job Description

Operational: To act in a line managerial role overseeing the performance and support of clinical staff in LCWs 111 Service, including clinicians in LCWs regional sites, ensuring a smooth running of service as well as setting and maintaining quality standards and ensuring targets are met. To continuously explore and identify opportunities for performance improvement, including the formulation of performance improvement plans under the direction of the 111 Clinical Lead in collaboration with the 111 Clinical Auditing team, Training and Developing (T&D) manager and operations team. To lead on and ensure achievement of required clinician performance targets by efficient management and providing support to clinical staff to achieve National Quality Requirements (NQRs) and other quality indicators and service requirements or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Clinical Practice & Leadership and Management: Develop/implement effective methods of monitoring and quality assuring the performance of
the 111 clinical staff. Employ effective leadership, communication strategies and partnership working with clinical staff always. Ensure achievement of required clinician performance targets by efficient management and providing support to clinical staff. Work closely with the Operations team to ensure calls are answered in a timely manner and that where required warm transfer, call backs are performed within the agreed KPIs. Maintain clinical competency, skills, and knowledge through work online as a clinician for a minimum of 7.5 hours per week and providing support to clinical and non-clinical staff. Training and Development: Support the T&D team in ensuring LCW meets obligations around training and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) required to remain compliant with the NHS Pathways Licence. Support, monitor and contribute to the development of a skilled clinical 111 workforce and facilitate a range of education, training and learning opportunities in partnership with the T&D
