Your duties will include:

To assist in accordance with professional standards (including SRA and CQS) and internal firm requirements.

Assisting with undertaking pre completion searches, ordering mortgage advances and requesting mortgage redemptions.

Dealing with client enquiries and communicating with a variety of third parties.

Assisting in the team administration including taking calls and directing accordingly.

Preparing correspondence and ensuring client information and documentation are saved and maintained on the firm's Case Management System.

Ensure the confidentiality of the client and firm's information and documentation at all times.

Experience of working in a legal environment is necessary.

IT literate - Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook., Legal Assistant/Secretary: 1 year (required)

We are seeking a temporary Legal Assistance to support and join the team within the Residential Conveyancing sector. The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent. A three month probationary period is to be successfully completed and two references sought.
