Full Job Description

In this role you will be required to proactively engage with officers and staff at all levels across various departments to understand the extent to which agile working can be adopted within particular teams and in turn identify and document the requirements for technology and workspace to enable this to be most effective.

Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensure all relevant stakeholders are aware of plans, including DDaT, Comms, People Services, Estates and lead relevant activity to ensure interdependencies are considered and suitable resources are allocated in order to effectively support the workplace transformation.

Undertake detailed requirements gathering with affected managers and teams in order to understand optimal workplace changes alongside technology solutions that would create the most effective working environment and working practices that impact positively on staff and enables the transition is as smooth as possible.

Identify potential risks and issues, take responsibility for seeking resolutions and alert the Business Change and Workplace Strategy Manager to any risks or issues which may impact on project timescales, resourcing or dependencies. Keep an accurate record of such risks and issues to aid mitigation.

Lead workshops and provide ongoing support to supervisors and managers in relation to the cultural changes required to support a transition to agile working. Also support staff to work collaboratively and creatively enabling them to perform to their full potential whilst optimising space efficiency.

Initiate responses to queries in relation to the transition to agile working, informing others as to the reasons and benefits of the change and signposting them to written communication and guidance as appropriate.

Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and character of work as may be reasonably required, including specific duties of a similar or lesser graded post., We are only as good as our people.   • Degree/HND or other Higher Education qualification.

  • Proven ability in the use of MS Office products- Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook software.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and evidence of the ability to express information in a clear, concise and logical way both in formal written reports and verbally.

  • Evidence of the ability to work collaboratively and to motivate and influence others toward team goals.

  • Well evidenced problem solving skills and proven ability to see a wide perspective, taking account of all relevant information and perspectives when identifying issues, devising solutions

  • Strong decision making skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and evidence of the ability to think and act in a clear and logical way.

  • Proven ability to build personal credibility, trust and respect.

  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of the importance of information precision and accuracy.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities, to take initiative and work without direction, prioritising tasks effectively and responding flexibly to changing demands under pressure.
