Wind Turbine Technician

We are looking for time served Mechanical or Electrical technicians, coming from a Maintenance and Fault-Finding background with an aspiration to enter the Renewables industry working on multiple turbine technologies. In your role you will be working within a team, carrying out wind turbine maintenance, supporting with faults, assisting with major component replacements and turbine inspections.

• Multi skilled, Mechanical or Electrical maintenance experience, suitable for Car/Agricultural/Commercial or maintenance engineer.


Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (required)


Experience:

• NVQ 3 in Mechanical or Electrical maintenance: 3 years (required)


Language:

• English (required)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
  
  JD Wind Ltd has some exciting opportunities to join our team due to securing various long-term contracts. The job will include working on one of the largest onshore wind farms in England and Wales supporting day to day maintenance of wind turbines.
  
  You must hold a full UK driving license. Be willing to travel and have nights away. You will participate in an on-call rota, be flexible, positive and have a can-do attitude. These roles are permanent full-time contracts. In return for this we will offer a competitive salary.
