Full Job Description

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to recruit a full time Wellbeing Officer who will work alongside the Safeguarding and Inclusion team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all learners and apprentices. They will support College attendance, retention and achievement strategies by providing high quality pro-active welfare and wellbeing support to individual students and groups. This is a fixed term role for up to 12 months or dependant on maternity leave.

Suitable candidates will have 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English, and be educated to A Level standard or equivalent. Candidates should have excellent skills in relation to motivating, supporting and challenging students to achieve and progress. It is desirable that applicants have a teaching qualification.
