Full Job Description
Our industry-leading client based near Cambridge is looking for a proven Weighbridge Operator to join their team.
The Weighbridge Operator will weigh waste vehicles in and out and assist the site manager by ensuring the weighbridge is operated in accordance with the Environmental Permit, Planning Permission, and Group policies.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Weighing in and out of vehicles and entering details onto the system
- Monitoring Waste Transfer Notes and EWC code usage
- Assist the Site Manager in ensuring reports are populated and completed
- Ensure users of the site are inducted into the site safety procedures
- Assist with controlling and co-ordinating the efficient operation of the weighbridge
- Maintain a polite helpful manner while taking queries
- Carry out housekeeping duties within weighbridge office, welfare facilities and site offices
- Assist with all aspects of site purchasing
- Facilitate the safe running of the front of house
Candidates will require previous experience in a similar role.
