Volunteer Opportunity: Togetherness Cafe Peer Support Join Us in Making a Difference!

As a volunteer at our Togetherness Cafe, your role will be to provide peer support and create a warm, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your responsibilities may include:

• Greeting visitors with a friendly smile and welcoming demeanor


• Engaging with guests in conversation and actively listening to their stories


• Facilitating group activities, games, or discussions to encourage interaction


• Providing emotional support and encouragement to those who may be feeling lonely or isolated


• Assisting with setup and cleanup tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the cafe
  
  A positive attitude and willingness to make a difference in the lives of others


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and respect diverse perspectives


• Reliability and commitment to attending scheduled volunteer shifts


• Fluency in languages other than English is a plus, but not required
