Full Job Description

  • Perform physical examinations, review medical histories, and order diagnostic tests such as vascular imaging studies (ultrasound, CT angiography, MRI angiography) to establish accurate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with vascular diseases and disorders, including peripheral artery disease (PAD), venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, and arterial aneurysms.

  • Provide expert consultation and referral services to primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals regarding the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with vascular disorders.

    The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop's Stortford, and St Margaret's Hospital in Epping.

    We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop's Stortford and Epping. Our extended catchment area incorporates a population of up to 500,000 and includes the areas of Hoddesdon, Cheshunt and Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.

  • Days per week: Monday-Friday or various ad hoc shifts available every day of the week

  • Shift pattern: 9:00-17:00, on-going,

  • Hours per week: 20-50 hours available

  • Start date: ASAP- no end date, this is on-going the client will accept short term contracts

  • Rate of pay: £92.50-£120 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
