Full Job Description

The Greensand Multi-Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Clerk to support Central Committee meetings. This will include preparing agendas, taking and distributing minutes, offering administrative support, keeping records and giving procedural and legislative advice.,

    This is a part time term time role working 221 hours over 38 weeks per annum. The pattern of weekly work will be irregular and will include attendance at some meetings starting after 6.00pm. Apart from attendance at meetings, the role can be carried out from home, at times of the day to suit the post-holder (within agreed deadlines).

  • the ability to understand regulations and other statutory requirements relating to school governance;


  • have excellent written and oral communication skills;


  • proven experience demonstrating the ability to work with others to build effective professional relationships;


  • excellent IT skills including the ability to set up and manage online meetings;


  • the ability to assimilate information from a number of sources and summarise succinctly; and


  • excellent stakeholder management skills.

    The full time equivalent annual salary is £29,499 to £32,455 and the pro rata annual salary is £3,990 to £4,390.
