Tile Setter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing tiles on various surfaces. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will contribute to creating beautiful and functional spaces. Responsibilities: - Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine tile layout and patterns - Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, ensuring accuracy and precision - Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and removing any debris or old tiles - Mix and apply mortar or adhesive to secure tiles in place - Cut tiles using power tools or hand tools to fit around obstacles or create desired patterns - Align tiles properly, ensuring even spacing and level installation - Apply grout between tiles, removing excess grout for a clean finish - Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make any necessary repairs or adjustments Requirements: - Proven experience as a Tile Setter or similar role - Strong

knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools - Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings - Skilled in using power tools and hand tools relevant to tile installation - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description reflects the general duties of the position but is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
