Full Job Description

An opportunity has arisen to join the fast growing team at Sherbourne Recycling in the role of Temporary Finance Assistant. Working closely with the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant, the Temporary Finance Assistant will primarily be tasked with providing support with the company's financial year-end. The role will also require reviewing and analysing core financial data provided by our partners, and managing credit control. Furthermore, the candidate will provide support to the waste management and operations team through data entry and other administrative tasks.

Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Data input skills are required
- A sound understanding of prepayments, accruals, and control accounts
- Good knowledge of ledgers, P&L, and balance sheets

Desirable Experience and Skills
- Fixed asset register
- SAGE Intacct

- Time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work on several projects at once
- Proactiveness when approaching workloads
- Confidence liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Prioritisation of workloads and time management
