Technical Officer - Discharge of Conditions

We have an opportunity for you to join our Planning and Environment Support Team. We need you to manage and process a varied caseload of applications to ensure the conditions attached to planning consents are discharged / complied with in very strict prescribed timescales. You will liaise with internal and external consultees, planners, agents and applicants, write up the formal discharge decisions and as required monitor the conditions to ensure compliance.

Educated to A Level standard you will have experience of working in a busy office including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to work effectively on your own initiative. You will have excellent communication and time management skills using a methodical and accurate approach to meet deadlines. You will also be able to read and interpret maps and plans.
