Alexandras Community Care Penryn are looking for a Team Leader to join their Home Care team. Could it be you?

This exciting and challenging role is a result of a period of growth allowing Alexandras to take on more frequent and complex care packages.

To help Alexandras remain a quality home care provider we require the support of diligent, dedicated and enthusiastic carers to allow us to efficiently and effectively manage our care packages and support our staff.

The role of Team Leaders within Alexandras includes a variety of tasks ensuring your days are filled and fulfilling.

With great career prospects, a Team Leader will be expected to attend home visits as well as be the first face a client may see when joining our service. You will run reviews, risk assessments, organise workloads and be a safe and reliable pair of hands when called upon.

You will support the managers and set an example, acting as a role model for your care team providing an exemplary approach to your work.

This is a full time role based out of our Penryn office, where you will be joining an existing team of kind and compassionate carers.

You will be expected to undertake a small number of hours of office work as well as work in the community which will include weekends.

  • Hold Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or willing to work to Level 3, continuous approach to PDP

  • Driving licence

  • Flexible working ability

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal & written

  • Reliable, professional & smart appearance

  • Proven understanding of the principles of good practice

  • Good knowledge of those requiring Care & Support at home, Company demographic & runs

  • Good time keeping

  • Well organised, able to self-motivate & plan within the direction of the Manager

  • Good understanding of health & safety in relation to the services we provide & the risk and needs process

  • Respectful of the Team's ideas
