An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Wigan Urgent Care and Inpatient Admin Team for a Ward Administrator, The Ward Administrator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support to the

The post holder will provide an administrative function to the managers, minute taking of meetings, typing of letters, filing, diary management and other general administrative duties., Full details of role and responsibility can be found in the attached job description and person specification.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator who enjoys working as part of a team and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high quality administration support in an efficient and timely manner.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, IT competency in Word, Excel and Outlook and a broad range of administrative experience.

You will be part of a team of administrators providingadmin cover to our service users, clinicians and other health professionals.

If you have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, this will be an excellent opportunity to develop your skills., Typing / WP RSAIII or equivalent or demonstrable experience

Desirable

GCSE Grade A-C English or equivalent ECDL NVQ3 Business Administration

Experience

Essential

Experience of working in an office environment Arranging meetings and taking minutes

Audio Typing experience Experience of working within the NHS or related healthcare experience Experience of dealing with members of the public

Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of office procedures Knowledge of Microsoft Office eg Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel
