Full Job Description

Bridlington School is dedicated to providing students with the knowledge and tools to grow into independent and successful young adults. The Life Skills curriculum enables difficult conversations to take place in safe environment exploring issues such as staying safe (physically and mentally), healthy relationships, families and the world of work.

The Role

You will teach Life Skills to KS3 and KS4 students as well as the option to undertake some other humanities subjects. At Bridlington School we aim to have dedicated specialists teaching life skills and you will have the opportunity to contribute towards the learning journey.

This curriculum is designed to help students to be the best version of themselves that they can be. The Life Skills curriculum is spiralled around three core themes of Relationships (RSHE), Living in the wider world (SMSC, FBV, Citizenship, Cultural Capital) and Health and Wellbeing (RSHE).

This provides opportunity to be involved in transition and outreach work, but also connections with peers across the local area.
