Full Job Description
We are a small residential home, specialising in Dementia care, looking for a part time tea time cook. If this sounds like you, please get in touch.
- Cook and prepare meals for up to 19 people.
- Able to follow dietary requirements and allergies.
- Able to prepare modified textured meals with an awareness of IDDSI (International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative.)
- Ensure kitchen is kept clean.
- Ensure correct labelling and dating of foods & drinks.
- Support care staff with serving drinks and meals.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shopping needs to managers.
The hours for this position are;
Thursday, Friday, Saturdays 15:00 - 19:00
Overtime available to cover holidays etc.
This post is subject to 2 satisfactory references and a DBS check due to working with vulnerable adults.
