Support Workers

Discovery is on the lookout for dedicated Support Workers in Taunton who are ready to enrich the lives of those we support, fostering independence and adding an extra dose of fun and laughter to their days.

Our schedule is already packed with a variety of hobbies, but there's always room for more excitement! Our female residents cherish pampering sessions, including hair and nail treatments, cozy foot spa evenings, and outings for coffee with family.

And our male residents? They're just as eager to join in the fun! Whether it's grabbing coffee and cake, spending afternoons at the pub, hitting the dance floor at our evening discos, or even enjoying a friendly game of soccer in the garden.

You will also play a vital role in promoting independence while providing support with personal care, meal preparation, financial management, and maintaining a sparkling clean home.

You don't have to have worked within a Social Care role previously, if you have the values we are looking for and the passion to make someone's day then that's all you need!
