Full Job Description

We're a family-run company, supporting individuals with their Mental Health in a mix of flats and house-shares functioning as supported living accommodation, enabling them to live independently in the community and supporting them to access the wider community and lead increasingly independent lives.

Our wonderful clients have a range of complex and diverse needs, and our mission is to support them in accessing and leading enriched, fulfilling lives in the most effective and meaningful way.

You will form part of a team with other Team Leaders and Support Workers, working together for successful outcomes for our residents. You will have additional support from the Supported Living Manager and Registered Manager.

Other exciting areas of the role include;

  • Equine Therapy - this includes our resident donkey, Shetland ponies and horses

  • Animal Care - Chickens, dogs, goats

  • Gardening and Horticulture - a large polytunnel for growing fruit and vegetables

  • Arts/Crafts

  • Cookery

  • Woodworking

  • Land Management

  • Active participation in the life and community of Findon Village, Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

  • Taking people out on day trips and extra curricular activities such as walking and cycling.

  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the care & support policies and procedures

  • Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities

  • Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans

  • Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.

    We have a great opportunity to join a new male team in our Supported Living house in Ashington. You'll be making a huge difference in young men's lives by supporting them to be part of the community, attending college, accessing work and much more.


  • Would you like to offer a mentoring role to help our young men develop their independent skills. Do you have a hobby that you are passionate about that you could share with our clients. They love mountain biking go out on the South Downs for walks taking the Shetland ponies out with them, doing the arts and crafts, fixing the bikes making bird and bat boxes.

    Contract: Permanent contract, full time and part time roles available

    Hours: Mornings, afternoons, evenings or night shifts available.

    Pay: £25,000,000 per year depending on experience plus a £600 car allowance and 45p per mile paid to you.,
