Main Purpose
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of Supply Technician at 100th Civil
Engineering Squadron, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom.

You will serve as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, and exercising control over employees assigned to the
Material Control Section. You will ensure that material control and supply management complies with legal and regulatory
requirements and meets customer needs.

As a Supervisory Supply Technician you will exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities, advise, and provide
counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. You will make selections for vacancies,
promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements, develop, modify, and
interpret performance standards and explain performance expectations to employees via regular appraisals.

You will be required to ensure the proper utilization of funding resources available and provide critical operational oversight of
expenditure in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.,

  • Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

  • May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the employee.

  • May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary

  • training. Position may be coded as mission essential.
  • A 6-month probationary period will be required.

  • Overtime may be required.

  • May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary

  • training.

  • Work is primarily sedentary. There may be some walking, standing, bending and lifting of light items. No special

  • physical demands are required to perform this work.
  • Work is performed indoors in an environment involving everyday risks or discomforts, which require normal safety

  • precautions typical of such places as offices or meeting rooms. The area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
  • May be required to work other than normal duty hours such as rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, call back,

  • holidays, etc.
  • May be required to participate in contingency situations, both real world and exercise.

  • Must have or obtain a valid category B driver's license.

    An in-depth knowledge of civil engineering materials and how they are used in construction maintenance and repair

  • work. A comprehensive knowledge of CE workflow, experience with CE procedures, and work control methods are
    highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.


  • An in-depth knowledge of civil engineering, supply, contracting manuals and regulations dealing with inventory

  • management, cataloging, acquisition, storage, issue and disposal.

  • Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program

  • requirements and objectives within available resources.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.


  • Knowledge of supply and purchasing regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods.


  • A general knowledge of management techniques such as planning and organizing work, inventory management theory,

  • logistics planning, and a basic knowledge of accounting and budgeting is highly desirable.,
