The role is responsible for overseeing and directing the vessel and stevedoring activities safely and efficiently. This includes supporting and coordinating with CSI operation by making key decisions regarding the Vessel and stevedoring operation and deputising for the Agent & Vessel Services Manager.

• Promote and manage a high level of health and safety across all opperational functions


• Maintain accurate and updated records, including manifests, daily reports and incident logs ECT


• Ensure all activities within the Vessel and stevedoring operation are completed and in line with the customers SLA's/KPI's and WWS contractual requirements


• Establish policies, procedures and best practice to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation


• Ensure and support shift supervisors/CSI are correctly trained and competent in carrying out their responsibilities


• Ensure effective and timely completion of department related tasks within authority limits
  
  Degree in business/industrial management or equivalent work experience


• Excellent English language skills


• Good understanding of current vehicle technology


• Good MS Office skills


• Leadership experience


• High quality and attention to detail


• Excellent communication skills


• Excellent organisation skills


• Good knowledge/understanding of health and safety


• Ability to work under pressure


• Clean full UK Driving license, You will be able to meet changing priorities and business needs in a positive and flexible manner, along with the ability to understand, accept and enjoy cultural differences.
