Summer Activities Programme Caterer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caterer to join our team for a summer activities programme. The Caterer will be responsible for ensuring the provision of nutritious and delicious meals following the UK school lunch meal requirements. This role involves preparing, cooking, serving food, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.,

• Menu Planning: Collaborate with programme coordinators to plan weekly menus that meet the nutritional needs of participants and comply with UK school lunch meal requirements.


• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to specified recipes, considering any dietary restrictions or allergies of participants.


• Food Service: Serve meals to participants in a timely and professional manner, ensuring adherence to portion control and food safety standards.


• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitising surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.


• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring that adequate stock is available for meal preparation.


• Compliance: Possess a Level 2 certificate in Food Hygiene and have a valid DBS certificate (Disclosure and Barring Service).
  
  A-Level or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Catering: 1 year (preferred)


• Youth work: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
