Full Job Description

We are recruiting for an Operation Executive (German/Dutch speaking) to join our Study Trips team. You will be working closely with our group leaders throughout the months leading up to their tour departure, to plan the logistics and deliver the service of tailor-made trips and itineraries for Schools and Universities.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients to provide updates on the logistics and planning of their tour

  • Liaising with our network of suppliers to deliver itineraries that meet our clients' tour objectives

  • Working with our Sales Executives to ensure a smooth handover of the booking

  • Identifying opportunities to provide more value and a better tour experience to the client

  • Dispatching documentation to clients

  • Liaising with hotels to ensure prepayment

  • Liaising with the product team to ensure our tour products and database are constantly developing and improving

    Fluent in English and German or Dutch

  • Excellent customer service experience ideally gained in a travel reservations, retail travel or event planning environment

  • Working knowledge of a GDS

  • A desire to succeed in a logistical travel planning role

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills

  • Good time management skills and capacity to thrive in a high-volume and varied environment

    Salary up to £25k (dependant on experience) plus OTE bonus £6k (links to performance)

  • If you are interested in our role and meet the requirements above, then please do get in touch. Our hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.30pm for 5 weeks and 9.45am - 6.30pm for 1 week. Our office is based in Manchester City Centre but there is also an option for this role to be remote (in the UK) with travel to Manchester to attend quarterly meetings.
