Are you a versatile Assistant Head Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and you'll be working alongside passionate people, with locally sourced produce, to provide high quality food that delights our guests. As Assistant Head Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading our talented kitchen team while ensuring the correct procedures are followed and specifications for each dish are precisely met. You will utilise the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes, to help adapt our offer to meet the needs of our business and our guests.

The Blue Ball Inn is set amongst rolling hills on the edge of Exmoor. Parts of the building date back to the 13th century, with low beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces oozing a characterful, old-world charm.

You'll work in a traditional coaching inn, nestled within an all-year-round South West destination. It's a perfect base for rural and coastal walks, with some of Britain's finest landscapes on the doorstep.
