Full Job Description

The Social Media and Marketing Co-Ordinator will be a key member of the health retreat's team, helping to elevate Yeotown's online presence and enhancing our communications with our guests. Primarily responsible for executing our social media campaigns and digital marketing and assisting in the day-to-day running of a busy health retreat.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for health and well-being and be inspired by elevating the lives and well-being of others. 20 - 25 hours a week, flexible timings. Please be available to work early evenings (until 8 pm) and a weekend day regularly when required.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop, track and manage social media platforms

- Website updates, with the ability to edit WordPress

- Create email campaigns using Mailchimp - analysing and reporting outcomes.

- Support in identifying necessary activities to optimise traffic, conversion and ROI

- Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends

- Working as part of a small team in the running of the retreat

- Meeting and greeting of guests.

- Assist in co-ordinating the retreat ensuring seamless transition between activities.

- Ensure the ambience (heating, lighting, oil diffusers etc) is constantly being adjusted and set the right atmosphere and tone of the retreat.

Yeotown Health Retreat is located just outside Barnstaple. This position is an excellent opportunity to join an award-winning wellness retreat, that runs its 5-day programme from Wednesday to Sunday, typically welcoming 12-14 guests per week. The ideal candidate must be a team player with a friendly and positive personality, strong attention to detail and ideally some experience within a client-facing role., At least 1 year of digital marketing experience and proven experience in managing social media platforms

- Experience writing for different platforms

- Basic SEO and PPC knowledge

- Good email automation campaign knowledge such as Mailchimp

- Creative experience using programmes such as Canva

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good understanding of WordPress or similar

- A passion for health and wellbeing

- Excellent attention to detail

- Strong organisational skills
