Full Job Description

As Sleep Editor at Tom's Guide, you'll play a pivotal role in our quest to help people enjoy the perfect night's sleep, and an incredible opportunity to help steer one of Future's most exciting growth categories. Reporting to Tom's Guide's Senior Sleep Editor, you'll be responsible for implementing the brand's industry-leading sleep and mattress strategy.

You'll oversee the day-to-day running of the Sleep team, ensuring the regular publication of timely and best-in-class news, features, reviews and buying guides, and keeping our growing suite of evergreen content fresh and updated. As well as managing a small team of Bath-based writers and a wider pool of international freelancers, you'll also write sleep and mattress content yourself, and conduct regular product reviews.

  • SEO experience.

  • Experience with ecommerce content/affiliate publishing.

  • Experience managing a hybrid working editorial team.

  • An interest in sleep.

  • Good research, analytical and comparison skills.

  • Ability to transform industry jargon into plain English.

  • Experience managing freelancers.

  • Ability to interpret data to inform content strategy.

    This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
