Full Job Description

Responsible for setting and running all machines and products on all manufacturing machines (or Plug assist if specifically assigned to that area). Complete all necessary paperwork and input all electronical data in Production Manager (CMS system). Fully understand casting change concept. Knowledgeable of procedure for combo aspects

This role is worked over a 3 rotational shift pattern working 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am Monday - Friday.
What We Need From You

  • Understand and practice safe work procedures/policies required by Waddington Europe.

  • Capable of installing and removing mould tools on all KMD/TFT machines and GN/RD machine (including casting change on KMD)

  • Capable of setting all GN/RD machines to run in production and setting all KMD/TFT machines to run in production in a timely manner

  • Capable of setting all GN and Scope ABB robotic stacker units and KMD/TFT pick and place/up stackers

  • Able to identify machine, material and tooling problems and rectify in a timely manner GN/RD and KMD/TFT

  • Ensure that machines are set/run to optimal cycle time

  • Ensure that machines are set/run to optimal stroke lengths

  • Plan and prepare for machine change overs to minimize any resulting downtime (correct tool, film, baffle plate etc.)

  • Able to report production problems with correct downtime

  • Communicate the shift status to the supervisor/setter on the next shift (efficient shift hand over)

  • Assist the shift to follow the BRC standards at all times

  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices

  • Understand quality expectations and testing procedures. and how to use the equipment.

  • Set the label machines to full production in a timely manner
