Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Facilities Management team at Barnet General Hospital in Barnet. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.,

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager

  • To assume daily responsibility for the PPM and reactive service of the site based operations team with the assistance of the site supervisors.

  • To oversee the PPM planner, and the scheduling of sub contractors against the planner.

  • To manage the Fabric and Admin teams

  • To oversee the updating of Maximo on all fabric jobs, in order to maintain compliance with the contract SLA's.

  • To assist the helpdesk in managing the reactive works and maintaining complete and detailed work records.

  • To assist with administration of the PPM site records, particularly L8 (water compliance) record keeping.

  • Ensure that invoicing and purchasing is organised and kept up to date.

  • CAFM System reporting and interrogation as required to collate reports and answer queries on service delivery.

  • Working 40 hours per week from 08.00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday

    Management and technical qualifications (Degree, BIFM, ILM) and comparable industry experience particularly in Hard FM services

  • Experience in sub-contractor control and resource management

  • Technical knowledge including asbestos management, statutory compliance and health and safety

  • Good commercial and contractual awareness

  • Knowledge of Maximo is desirable

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable

  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and client relationship skills

  • Strong IT skills with excellent attention to detail
