Serendipity Group Coordinator

We're looking for a Serendipity Group Coordinator to join the project team working 22.5 hours per week. The role will be mainly working evenings and weekends hosting groups and will work on a 4 week rolling timetable.

The role could sometimes be based out of our Autism Hampshire office in Fareham however predominantly will be hosting the social groups at different locations in Hampshire so travel and having your own vehicle is essential.

The Serendipity Groups are fun, vibrant and safe spaces for autistic people to meet, socialise and develop friendships as well as attend workshops and masterclasses on specific topics of interest.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for coordinating Serendipity Groups and to support in the running of our social and skills-based workshops for autistic adults; establish partnerships with social prescribers; support our volunteers and help to achieve fundraising key performance indicators. Groups meet in person and/or online mostly in the evenings and at weekends.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys facilitating and leading groups, social clubs or workshops!

• At least one years' experience in facilitating large groups or clubs


• Full valid driving licence and access to own vehicle


• A good understanding and knowledge of Autism


• Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationship building skills at all levels inside and outside Avenues group


• Able to manage own time
