Full Job Description
- Lead on the management of a number of BSPS Information Management & Technology (IM&T) projects. The majority of projects will be IT Application Deployments.
- Facilitate project governance arrangements which for a standard project would include a Project Review Board chaired by an SRO and a working group chaired by the post holder.
- Use the BSPS standard project management approach
- Ensure all projects are well documented
- Ensure projects are delivered to time, budget and requirements are met and planned benefits are delivered.
- Undertake scoping, specifying and forecasting project budgets
- Managing project budgets throughout the project life cycle
- Identifying appropriate resources and capabilities, selecting and managing specialist skilled contractors for key projects.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate an understanding of Project Management with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team or to lead the project teams involved in the design, integration and implementation of new systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as dealing with a wide range of clinical staff and associated professionals is a significant aspect of this role.
