Full Job Description

To act as the primary link between the Software Development Teams and the
divisions across the business. Representing and translating business requirements
to enable their delivery.

Key Responsibilities
These responsibilities include, but are not restricted to:

  • Work with the Product Manager, business stakeholders and customers to


  • understand and capture requirements and translate them into an easily
    understood form.
  • Produce artefacts (e.g. user stories, requirements documents, wireframes, etc)


  • consumable by the software development team which represent the business
    requirements.
  • Be available to the software development team as the subject matter expert for


  • the business requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements prioritisation sessions with the business and / or


  • customers and software development team.
  • Analyse requirements

  • Own and manage the backlog including prioritisation.

  • Keep relevant documentation up to date.

  • Provide stakeholders with progress updates and metrics.

  • Work with other Product Owners across the business to harmonise approach


  • and share best practice.
  • Support the software development teams to enable them to successfully deliver

    Extensive experience of analysing business requirements and translating them


  • into artefacts which can be consumed by the Software Development Team to
    enable delivery.
  • Extensive experience of a broad range of artefacts used to capture business


  • requirements (e.g. user stories, wireframes, information models, data models,
    etc)
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience up to board level

  • Very strong at bringing together groups of people with diverse points of view


  • and getting to a consensus.
  • Very strong analytical skills

  • Experience of working using Agile development methodology


  • Desirable Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience of the primary care sector

  • Certified Product Owner

  • Experience of Azure DevOps boards for planning and requirements
