Full Job Description

  • GMS practice.

  • SystmOne clinical system.

  • Clinical Buddy support system.

  • Low visiting rates.

  • You would be part of a friendly, enthusiastic and truly multidisciplinary team comprising of:
  • 7 GP partners.

  • 4 Salaried GPs.

  • 5 Nurse Practitioners and 2 Emergency Care Practitioners.

  • Clinical Pharmacist.

  • An experienced Practice Nursing and HCA team.

  • Supportive Patient Services Administration Team of 8.

  • A dynamic and well integrated PCN team including Physician Associate, First Contact Practitioners, Health Coaches, Social Prescribers, Care Co-ordinators, Paramedic, Occupational Therapist, Nurse Associate, GP Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician.

  • Additional support from Lakeside Healthcare Central Team.


  • Job Introduction

    Reporting to the Patient Services Manager the Senior Patient Services Administrator plays a crucial role in in overseeing the work carried out by the Patient Services Administration Team.

    The successful candidate will act as a role model to the Patient Services Administration Team, demonstrating and promoting the standards expected by Lakeside Healthcare, whilst working collaboratively with the Patient Services Manager to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

    What you will do
  • Responsible for the overseeing of the work carried out in the Patient Services Administration Team on a day to day basis, ensuring completion in a timely manner, while adhering to practice group policies and CQC standards.

  • To support, lead and act as a role model for other team members.

  • To ensure all the team are suitably trained and skilled in their roles.

  • Identifying training gaps within the team and putting in place action plans.

  • To conduct performance reviews and appraisals alongside the Patient Services Manager together with other HR processes e.g. managing sickness absences.

  • To ensure that all QOF targets are being reviewed throughout the year to achieve maximum points and implement action plans to complete., We anticipate that shortlisting will commence one week after the advert has closed and will advise of interview arrangements if successful, however this timeline is dependent on the number of applications., Lakeside Healthcare is an equal opportunities employer.     GCSE Level (A-C) or equivalent qualifications.

  • Experience in customer facing environment.

  • Administrative experience.

  • Telephony Experience.

  • Good IT skills.

  • Competent use of Microscoft Office.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
